Meghan Markle shot of her walking down the aislel was crowned best royal photo of the year

Meghan Markle, who became a Duchess of Sussex upon her marriage to Prince Harry had her photo where she was walking down the aisle at St. George's Chapel on May 19 crowned as the best royal photograph of the year in NMA's Royal Rota photography competition

The photographer who was Danny Lawson, beat a snap of the Duchess of Cambridge gazing lovingly at Prince Louis outside the Lindo Wing, and a photograph of Prince Philip lifting his hat following his last official engagement, to the top spot.

The photo was voted by Members of the public as their favourite image from the selections which were put before a panel of judges.

Shot of Harry and Meghan holding hands during their carriage procession through Windsor which was taken by photographer Yui Mok's  also won a special category dedicated to pictures of the couple.
