Nigeria Striker Odion Ighalo gains popularity on the internet over Libya victory(Photos &videos)

Despite wrapping up a third straight win to dislodge South Africa at the top of the group, things weren't completely straightforward for the Super Eagles, who threw away a two-goal lead.


Gernot Rohr, the super eagles coach released a statement via his twitter handle; "i congratulate my team for this victory. it was a huge test of our character. we lost a '2' goal lead but fought hard instead of dropping our heads. we still stay humble because we have not qualified for AFCON yet. we keep fighting."

Super Eagles striker, Odion Ighalo who silenced his critics in the 4-0 Libya win where he scored an hat-trick, has yet done it again in the second leg of the match which took place in Tunisia with a 3-2 win.

He received praises on the internet as they give him kudos for his good work.
